Self taught baker with a passion for genuine sourdough bread, I started my journey back in 2019 after attending a couple of workshops and feeling totally inspired to start my own baking journey. Having a young family at the time, I wanted to do something that would fit in with a busy home. I always enjoyed baking especially with my children, and found the whole process of making bread fascinating and challenging and soon realised that there was a whole new world out there full of likeminded obsessed bakers. All bakes are prepared in my domestic home kitchen in Naunton Beauchamp, Pershore where customers can either collect direct or delivery can be arranged.
I am a supporter of the Real Bread Campaign which promotes genuine sourdough without the use of any baking aids, enhancers or other unnecessary nasties - just flour, water & salt go into my sourdoughs! Flours are sourced from Shipton Mill (based in Gloucester), using both Organic White, Stoneground & Wholemeal Flours, alongside locally regeneratively grown Population Wheat & Heritage Flours from Wild at Wichenford and The Fold Granary in Worcester. Also I use Rise Re:Gen Regeneratively farmed UK wheat flour. Local produce is sourced where possible and all bakes are made to order to avoid food waste.
